The Department may gather certain information about a user, including but not limited to, Internet protocol (IP) addresses, domain names, operating system, the date and/or time of the visit, the pages visited etc. The Department makes no active attempts to link such information with the identity of individuals visiting this mobile application unless so required as per law; or for purposes of investigating, preventing, managing, recording, or responding to unlawful, unauthorized, fraudulent, or other unethical conduct, or for any other law enforcement purposes.

3. The Department does not sell or trade the information collected through this mobile application. The Department does not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. The Department may disclose information collected through this mobile application for, inter alia, the discharge of its functions; in response to court orders, legal proceedings, or requirements of law enforcement; in furtherance of public interest, or as required by law.

5. The Department implements reasonable security practices and measures to safeguard information provided to this mobile application against loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

6. Users are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy, confidentiality, and security of their credentials to login and access this mobile application. If users disclose their credentials or other details to third parties, the Department shall not be responsible for any loss, damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business projects, loss of profits or any other damage in contract, tort or otherwise whether direct, indirect or consequential) or other repercussions arising from the use of or inability to use the mobile application, or any of its contents, or from any action taken or refrained from being taken.

User Responsibility
You must:

1. Be a natural person to access or seek to access AIS mobile app.

2. Not access or link to or seek to access or link to (either directly or indirectly) any other person's AIS mobile app account, unless authorized.

3. Not permit any other person to use your login credentials such as MPIN; keep your login credentials, at all times and not disclose it to anyone else, since you are responsible for any account using your credentials.

4. Report the Help desk immediately if you suspect that the security of your account may have been compromised e.g.: your account credentials have been lost or stolen. Contact Help desk using the details at “Contact Us” under Help.
